HuFriedyGroup, a dental products manufacturer, acquired SS White Dental, according to an Oct. 4 news release.
Here are five things to know about the transaction and the companies:
1. SS White Dental has been in business for more than 175 years and is a manufacturer of branded, differentiated carbide and diamond burs and endodontic instruments.
2. HuFriedyGroup is an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital, a middle-market private equity firm.
3. Through the partnership, SS White Dental will improve its reach and efficiency.
4. HuFriedyGroup has more than 20 manufacturing facilities and locations across the world.
5. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
