A partnership between 3D printing company3D Systems and Swiss supplier Saremco Dental AG will aim to create new 3D printing materials for dental procedures.
Saremco Dental's Crowntec material can now be used with 3D Systems' NextDent 5100 printer and software to create patient-specific permanent crowns.
3D systems said Crowntec is 30 percent stronger than other materials and available in a variety of shades to create crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and artificial teeth for dentures.
