Envista saw a 29 percent increase in core sales in 2021, according to the dental supply company's fourth quarter financial report released Feb. 9.
Five notes on the company's fourth quarter results:
1. Fourth quarter sales increased by 5.8 percent to $651.8 million, with a 6.6 percent increase in core sales from the same quarter in 2020.
2. Net income for the company's fourth quarter was $42.5 million.
3. Envista's adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization for the fourth quarter was $120.7 million, as compared to $120.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2020.
4. This year, Envista expects growth for its core sales to be between 6 percent to 8 percent and to have a full year adjusted EBITDA margin of at least 20 percent.
5. The company said its financial goals for 2022 do not reflect its acquisition of Carestream Dental's intraoral scanner business, which it expects to be finalized during the second quarter of this year.
