SmileDirectClub has expanded its oral care line with the launch of dissolving whitening strips, the Nashville, Tenn.-based teledentistry company said Jan. 19.
The company said in a news release that its whitening strips can be worn by patients once a day for 15 minutes and are beneficial for those who experience tooth sensitivity from other whitening strips that require a longer wear.
SmileDirectClub is partnering with Peloton trainer Tunde Oyeneyin to promote the new product. The partnership is one of three the company is undertaking to promote the link between oral health and confidence in patients.
Patients can buy the strips as a one- or two-week treatment on the company's website or amazon.com. SmileDirectClub will also sell the products in more than 4,600 Walmart locations beginning in late February and other retailers during the first quarter, the release said.
