US has more than 7,000 dental professional shortage areas: HRSA

There are currently 7,067 dental professional shortage areas in the U.S., according to new data from the Health Resources & Services Administration.

The data, updated Dec. 16, also shows that the U.S. needs 10,153 practitioners in order to fill the shortage areas.
