Paid vacation, sick time and holidays are the top three benefits offered to employees at dental practices, according to a June poll by the American Dental Association's Health Policy institute.
The ADA collected responses from dental practices in its monthly "Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues" poll. The most recent poll represents responses for the week of June 13.

Paid sick time: 70.1 percent
Paid holidays: 87.2 percent
Retirement savings: 76 percent
Health insurance: 44.9 percent
Dental benefits: 92.7 percent
Continuing education or professional development: 71.2 percent
Paid leave: 21.2 percent
Membership in professional association: 16.4 percent
Licensure or certificate fees: 32.6 percent
Other: 10.2 percent

Performance-based or other bonuses: 21.3 percent
FSA, HSA, health insurance allowance/reimbursement: 8.7 percent

Well days or other well-being support: 3.9 percent
Transportation allowance/reimbursement: 3.9 percent
