Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America introduced three group dental product features, including dental service guarantees, orthodontic coverage expansion and reducing deductibles.
The Renaissance Major Services Guarantee protects patients if certain major dental procedures fail. If an eligible procedure fails the benefit will cover the cost of the replacement, as long as the patient keeps coverage through Renaissance and has an annual preventive visit, according to a Sept. 10 news release.
Procedures covered under the Renaissance Major Services Guarantee include root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants.
The Early Ortho Max Extender benefit counts any early orthodontic treatments toward the patient's annual maximum instead of the lifetime orthodontic maximum, potentially reducing out-of-pocket expenses.
The Vanishing Deductible feature reduces the member's deductible by $25 for the following year if they have at least one diagnostic or preventive dental service performed each year, the release said.
