Dentists in the U.S. had an average total economic impact of $2.36 million in 2022, according to data from the American Dental Association.
The report, which includes the total economic impact and total number of jobs supported by offices of dentists, was released in February.
Dentists in North Dakota had the largest economic impact, with each dentist averaging $3.48 million in that area. Dentists had the lowest average impact in Washington, D.C., at $1.59 million.
