Catapult Education, a dental continuing education company, launched Catapult Crown, an investment platform focused exclusively on dental startups.
The program has a panel of dental, legal, intellectual property and business experts to determine if a company has a suitable service, product or technology for the platform, according to a Jan. 31 news release.
Dental community members can sign up and view the products on the platform for free. Members can become investors by meeting certain criteria and investing $10,000 or more in a product, the release said.
Being featured on the platform can lead to more awareness, sales and partnerships with manufacturers and distributors for startup dental companies.
Catapult Education has provided continuing education courses and evaluated dental products and services for more than 20 years.
