More dental school graduates working in underserved areas can be beneficial for both dentists and patients, one dentist says.
Bob Ditomassi, DDS, a dentist in Springfield, Mass., recently spoke with Becker's about the changes he wants to see in the industry.

Dr. Bob Ditomassi: I would like to see more graduates from dental school work in underserved areas in exchange for loan forgiveness from the government. This scenario would allow folks in rural areas better access to healthcare and it would allow recent graduates to hone their skills and gain valuable experience while eliminating a crushing debt load.
