Here are seven dental leadership moves that have taken place since Aug. 26:
1. The American Dental Association promoted Lata Garlapati to the role of vice president of data strategy and governance.
2. Tempe, Ariz.-based Align Technology named leaders for its Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA regions, according to a Sept. 4 news release.
3. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance appointed Claudia Saenz Amlie as its chief human resources officer. It also appointed Eric Tobler, DMD, as chief clinical officer.
4. Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS promoted Joelle Duroseau to the role of vice president of business development.
5. Dentsply Sirona appointed Bruce Peatey as group vice president of its new Americas regional commercial organization.
6. The UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry appointed Kenneth Hargreaves, DDS, PhD, as inaugural director of the center for pain therapeutics and addiction research at the school.
7. Mark Wolff, DDS, PhD, was reappointed dean at the Penn School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia through June 30, 2030.
