Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental affiliated with more than 30 new practices in 2024, growing its network to more than 1,800 locations, according to a Feb. 20 news release from the DSO.
Here are seven notes on the company's 2024 growth:
1. The DSO surpassed 1,800 supported practice locations for the first time.
2. Heartland Dental affiliated with 31 new practices across 14 states in 2024.
3. Heartland Dental collaborated to open 105 new dental practices, including 16 relocations, across 22 states.
4. The company opened its first supported practice in Utah.
5. Through its partnership with VideaHealth and Henry Schein One, the DSO provided more than 20,000 supported dental professionals with access to AI to support diagnosis, treatment planning, patient communications and workflow management.
6. Heartland Dental University offered 1,300 continuing education courses with more than 76,000 course completions.
7. The company's supported practices provided more than $2.7 million in free dental services in 2024.
