Atlanta-based Benevis provided care to more than 600,000 patients in 2024, with 82% relying on Medicaid or CHIP plans.
Benevis practices and clinical teams, which deliver affordable dental care to disadvantaged children and adults, provided care during more than 1.4 million patient visits during 2024, according to a Dec. 12 news release.
Of the more than 1 million patients visits, there were nearly 80,000 emergency visits, more than 640,000 fillings, nearly 550,000 sealants and more than 371,000 orthodontic procedures.
Benevis supports practices in 13 states and Washington, D.C., and expanded general dentistry services, orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery services in 10 out of the 14 states and territories.
The company also held its ninth annual Sharing Smiles Day in May, providing free dental care to 413 uninsured individuals, the release said.
