Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners was recently ranked among the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list.
Inc. ranked companies based on their percentage revenue growth from 2020 through 2023. To qualify for the list, companies must be based in the U.S. and be privately held, for-profit and independent as of Dec. 31, 2023.
Guardian Dentistry Partners, founded in 2018, currently supports more than 160 practices across 11 states.
Here is what the DSO has accomplished since 2020:
2024
1. In May, Guardian Dentistry Partners received a growth capital investment to continue its growth and expansion into new regions.
2. Guardian Dentistry Partners appointed Kai Zhao as vice president of operations for the Mid-Atlantic region.
3. Guardian Dentistry Partners appointed Dr. Tarek Aly as COO.
2023
1. The DSO added practices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Michigan, Alabama, Texas and Virginia.
2. Guardian Dentistry Partners was included on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list.
2022
1. Guardian added Value Dental Carolinas, its first practice in South Carolina, and Matthews (N.C.) Family Dentistry, its first practice in North Carolina.
2. The dental partnership organization hired Jason Dignan to be its vice president of corporate finance.
3. Guardian entered the Maryland market by adding two practices from the state to its network.
4. The company secured five more practices over a three-week period in October.
5. Guardian reached its 100th partner after making nearly 30 partnerships in the third quarter.
2021
1. Guardian selected Robert Papenbrock as its vice president of finance.
2. Guardian appointed Chris Carlisle as general counsel and Andrea Garson as chief people officer.
3. Guardian secured more than $100 million in debt financing from Chicago-based Twin Brook Capital Partners to create new partnerships.
4. The company created a chief operating officer role and appointed Houmam Ali to the position.
5. Guardian entered New York by partnering with Marc Liechtung, DMD.
2020
1. GDP entered its sixth state, Florida, after partnering with Aberdeen Dentistry in Boynton Beach and Gardens Dental Care in Palm Beach Gardens.
2.The DSO named Hisham Barakat, DDS, its new chief clinical officer.
3. Guardian Dentistry Partners added FRESHDental group, a multi-office practice in North Carolina.
