Here are eight DSOs and dental groups that have added practices in the South that Becker's has reported on since April 3:
1. Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care opened Affordable Dentures & Implants practice locations in North Carolina and Texas.
2. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental affiliated with practices in Gulf Breeze and West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as Kenner, La.
3. Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine Dental Management entered Arkansas.
4. Chicago-based Aspen Dental is set to open an office in McKinney, Texas.
5. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental opened two de novo practices in Florida.
6. Modis Dental Partners added a Florida periodontics and implant dentistry practice.
7. Nashville, Tenn.-based Endodontic Practice Partners added a Florida practice to its network.
8. Denver-based Espire Dental made its first acquisition in Texas.
