1. St. Mary's Health Center Medical and Dental Clinic in Wilmington, N.C., filed a restraining order against the Basilica of St. Mary amid a dispute over the clinic's space.
2. A former North Carolina oral surgeon was found guilty of sexually assaulting patients while they were sedated.
3. A Baxter International factory in Marion, N.C., was significantly damaged by Hurricane Helene, leading to a nationwide shortage of IV fluid.
4. The widening gap between Medicaid reimbursement rates and the real cost of providing dental care in North Carolina has reportedly reached its boiling point.
5. Harlow Dental Group, a general dental practice based in Charlotte, N.C., acquired a former DentalWorks location in Charlotte, N.C.
6. Richmond Hill, Ga.-based SGA Dental Partners added a practice in North Carolina.
