Three dental schools in Illinois earned endowments from the Illinois State Dental Society.
Each of the three schools will receive $8,000 from the ISDS Foundation's dental education endowment fund.
Here are the three schools and how they plan to use the additional funds:
- UIC College of Dentistry (Chicago): Upgrade its common space by installing display monitors and adding more power and data.
- Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-IL (Downers Grove): Purchasing materials for dental printing appliances including dental resins, as well as the upkeep of the 3D printing system.
- SIU School of Dental Medicine (Alton): Increasing funds for the school's children's oral health prevention program, which brings dental care to early childhood and elementary schools.
