A dentist in Salem, Ore., is set to break ground on a new practice at the location of a former restaurant, according to a July 15 report by Salem Reporter.
Hunsaker Dental, led by Travis Hunsaker, DDS, is building a third office to accommodate additional patients. Dr. Hunsaker is often booked out over a month in advance, making it difficult for patients with urgent dental issues to receive timely care.
The building will have three floors, with the practice occupying the first floor. The approximately 10,000-square-foot practice will include 27 total operatories.
The total cost of the project is $10 million, including the $2 million land purchase made by Dr. Hunsaker in 2022. The building is expected to be completed in summer 2025, the report said.
The new location will be Hunsaker Dental's third. The practice currently has locations in Monmouth and Salem, Ore., according to its website.
