In August 2022, the Florida Department of Health conducted a routine inspection of Artmill Dental Laboratory in Deerfield Beach, Fla. The inspector observed a dental chair on the lab's premises and informed the company that the dental chair was not permitted, according to documents from the Florida Department of Health.
When an investigator from the health department conducted a follow-up inspection of the lab in June 2023, the chair was still installed.
