The cost of dental services has increased by 5.1% over the last year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' consumer price index.

- The BLS released an updated consumer price index June 12.
- The report includes data on prices for various items and services, including healthcare services, food and apparel, in May.
- The report shows that the cost of dental services increased by 1% since April.
- The price of personal dental products has increased by 2.3% over the last year. However, the cost of personal dental products decreased by 0.3% between April and May.
