Patients have been left stranded after a dental office in Independence, Mo., closed unexpectedly last month, FOX4 reported June 3.
Wright Dentures and Implants posted a note on its door in May, stating the office was closed due to "unforeseen circumstances." The practice's phone was also not working.
Patients have been unable to contact the office, led by Brian Jenkins, DDS, to find out why the practice closed and how to continue their treatment.
FOX4 reported that while the sign on the door has been taken down, the office remains closed and it is unable to reach the practice for more information about the closure.
Records from the Missouri Dental Board show Dr. Jenkins' license was placed on probation in March 2022 for three years following complaints about his care.
The Missouri Dental Board suggested patients contact the board's office to file a complaint and assist with its investigation.
