A Colorado woman who pleaded guilty to embezzlement was recently ordered to pay $34,665.60 in restitution, The Durango Herald reported May 17.
Angelina Mulholland, a former office manager at Durango (Colo.) Kids Pediatric Dentistry, was charged with theft in March 2023. She reportedly embezzled $26,775 between November 2021 and February 2023 by using the dental practice's credit card to pay for personal expenses.
In addition to paying back the money stolen from the practice, Ms. Mulholland was ordered to pay $8,884 in fees related to the investigation. She was also sentenced to five years of probation.
