A dental hygienist in Manlius, N.Y., was arrested and charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft of dental equipment from her employer, according to a May 14 report by CNY Central.
According to police, Christina Mannise stole more than $3,000 in equipment from the practice she worked at, then posted and sold it on eBay.
A local dentist informed the Manlius police after conducting an internal investigation.
The police executed a search warrant on Ms. Mannise's home and recovered two pieces of stolen equipment, the report said.
