1. Batesville, Ark.-based Lyon College chose a new location for its upcoming dental school after its previous property deal fell through.
2. 13 U.S. dental schools were among the top dental schools in the world by QS World University Rankings.
3. The University of Tennessee Health Science Center appointed Ken Tilashalski, DMD, as dean of its College of Dentistry in Memphis.
4. The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is planning to expand its apprenticeship program for dental assistants to include more than 60 student trainees.
