The Washington Dental Quality Assurance Commission withdrew its charges against the dental general anesthesia license of Wei Guo, DMD, MD.
Dr. Guo's license has been reinstated, and he is now able to resume practicing with a general anesthesia permit in the state, according to a Dec. 7 news release from the Washington State Department of Health.
The commission suspended Dr. Guo's license in July after charges that he administered anesthesia without two appropriate team members present and provided care to a patient without a dental assistant or trained anesthesia monitor.
