Here are four updates that have taken place in the dental industry since July 20:
1. Chuck Pitts, DMD, a dental surgeon at Refresh Me Dental Center in LaGrange, Ga., has used the Yomi Robotic Dental System for more than 100 implant procedures.
2. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental added practices in Carrollton and Kennesaw, Ga.
3. Augusta (Ga.) University named Nancy Young, DMD, dean of its Dental College of Georgia.
4. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance partnered with Sparkling Smiles in Fayetteville, Ga.
