The Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic, which is run by medical students from the University at Buffalo (N.Y.), has expanded to provide dental care services.
The service expansion was made possible through a seed grant, according to an Oct. 6 news release from the university.
The clinic will provide dental screenings and follow-up appointments to uninsured and underinsured patients.
In addition to dental care, the clinic also offers general healthcare services. All care provided at the clinic is supervised by licensed physicians, the release said.
