The American Dental Association recently voiced its support for state regulation of dental benefits to a House of Representatives subcommittee.
The Committee on Education & the Workforce held a hearing Sept. 10 to discuss ways to protect and improve the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
The ADA wrote a letter to the subcommittee emphasizing the importance of retaining states' ability to regulate dental benefits in order to ensure fair treatment of patients and policyholders.
