Dentists who are affiliated with a DSO have higher confidence levels in the economic conditions of their dental practice, the dental industry and the U.S. overall, according to a poll from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
More than 40% of DSO-affiliated dentists are "very confident" in the economic conditions of their practice in the next six months, compared to less than 25% of dentists who are not affiliated with a DSO, according to ADA's "Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues in Dentistry" report from the third quarter.
