Oral and maxillofacial surgery is the fifth highest-paying physician specialty in the U.S., according to Doximity's 2024 Physician Compensation Report.
Doximity developed its report using data from 150,000 compensation surveys completed over the last five years, as well as 33,000 physician compensation surveys completed between January and December 2023. The company surveyed full-time physicians in the U.S. who practice at least 40 hours per week.
