The oral health AI and machine learning sector has received significant venture capital funding, according to an Oct. 15 report by CareQuest Innovation Partners.
2014 saw only one deal for $5 million. As of Aug. 26, there have been eight deals, totaling more than $145 million in 2024, demonstrating increased interest in the dental AI space and an increase of more than $90 million compared to 2023.
The deals make up a significant share of all venture capital activity in the oral health industry. In total, the industry has surpassed $400 million in cumulative venture capital deals in 2024.
