Medical device company Align Technology introduced June 3 two new features to enhance dental operations: iTero Workflow 2.0 and iTero Element 5D imaging system.
The iTero Workflow 2.0 software features improved scanning capabilities, visualization and patient communications tools. The company stated that this software is expected to be available everywhere the iTero Element Plus imaging systems are available by the end of the second quarter in 2021.
The iTero Element 5D imaging system now includes a new auto-upload feature to streamline Invisalign case submissions. The company states this feature will be available during the third quarter of this year.
Align was founded in 1997 and has its global headquarters in Tempe, Ariz.
